The project involved the closure of 20 former pastoral dams located within the Cultana Expansion Area (CEA), which is owned by the Department of Defence (Defence). It covered all aspects of the closure activities including: including removal and disposal of all existing dam infrastructure, dewatering, backfilling detailed earthworks, landscaping, revegetation and weed management for site remediation, plus waterway stabilisation with geofabric.
